Kinetic Detonation is a Legacy that allows the user to charge inanimate objects with kinetic energy, as well as control the flow of kinetic energy.

Ran Takeda[]
Ran initially uses this Legacy to blow up several Skimmers and many Mogadorians. Later, she exercises enough control over this Legacy to cook an egg and, even more impressively, jumpstart Nigel's unconscious body to revive him. Ran is currently practicing on resorbing the energy she sends into objects so as to merely heat them up rather than explode them, like she does with eggs. Malcolm Goode comes up with a nonlethal use of her ability after she charges a block of concrete. He shows her that her ability points out a fault line in the concrete, which could allow construction workers in the future to find faults in already constructed buildings. Ran finds another use for her Legacy when Duanphen tries to shock her. Ran manages to redirect the electricity back onto Duanphen, knocking her out.
Svetlana[]
Although preferebly not to show her legacy, Svetlana forced to shows her ability to blow out the lights aboard Dennings' ship, as well as detonate a can of beans like a grenade amidst incoming soldiers.
