Kenya, officially the Republic of Kenya, is a country in East Africa. At some point after landing on Earth, Number Three and his Cêpan fled the USA to live off the grid in a small village near Nairobi, the country's capital.

Number Three and his Cêpan lived in a hut on the outskirts of a small village near Nairobi.
After discovering a travel magazine which describes a boy with strange ankle brandings, Andrakkus Sutekh sends Ivanick and Adamus to the village under the alias of humanitarian aid workers. Adamus notices Three who is wearing socks and is very active, he introduces himself as Hannu and Ivan becomes suspicious when he refuses a jab injection. That night Adamus tries to warn Three but is caught by Ivan who he fights. Meanwhile the Mogadorians move in and kill Three's Cêpan. Three escapes and runs for his life, he jumps over a large ravine but is caught by Andrakkus Sutekh and killed.
Adamus, distracted by his failure to rescue Three, is pushed off the ravine by Ivan and left for dead. However he is rescued by local village people, he slowly heals and lives in the villiage, continuing his humanitarian aid with One as his main company. One manages to convince him to leave Kenya to help the rest of the Garde but he is more intent on rescuing her consciousness as it fades more and more and he returns to Ashwood Estates.
