Super Strength, or Fortem, is a Legacy that drastically increases the strength and muscle capacity of the Garde to superhuman levels. It is one of the most common Legacies. Due to the Loric Garde being naturally stronger than humans, this Legacy can increase their already great strength to unparalleled levels.

Number Nine[]
Nine has shown on many occasions that his physical strength exceeds that of his fellow Garde. Whilst trapped in the Mogadorian Mountain Base in West Virginia, he's imprisoned behind a forcefield while Sandor hangs, tortured and broken, in front of him. Nine hurls himself at the forcefield and manages to escape, killing Sandor out of mercy. When Four breaks into the base and frees Nine, they escape but Four decides to go back in to find Sam and runs into the forcefield, which instantly incapacitates him.
Melanie Jackson[]
Melanie, the President's daughter, was gifted with Fortem. She was the first to be enrolled in the Human-Garde program initiated by the UN to train and deploy Human-Garde and subsequently became their poster girl. The Earth Garde brochure shows Melanie Jackson lifting a brick wall over her head.
Kopano Okeke[]
Kopano can use Fortem to alter the molecular density of his body at will, not only giving him enhanced strength but also making himself impervious to most forms of attack, either by raising his density so it breaks across his flesh or lowering his density so the attack harmlessly phases through him.
