Carlotta Ricardo was the mother of Héctor Ricardo and lived in Santa Teresa with him.
Due to her critical illness of Parkinson's disease, her son Héctor spent a large part of his life either taking care of her or drinking heavily. To make Héctor's life easier, and as a goodbye present, Marina heals Carlotta to full health. From then on, Marina became Carlotta's angel. Carlotta also adopts Legacy the cat and renames him Feo. Marina later visits her.
It is unconfirmed what became of Carlotta after the Mogadorian bombings of Santa Teresa and the death of her son Héctor in combat against the Mog. army . News reports found by bloggers at They Walk Among Us suggest that there were only three deaths and that Catalonian separatists were being blamed.
